15th KIT Fusion PhD Students Seminar

If you are a PhD student at KIT and you are working on a problem related to nuclear fusion, we are delighted to invite you to the 15th KIT Fusion PhD Students Seminar. This event will take place at Haus der Kirche, Dobler Str. 51, 76332 Bad Herrenalb on May 15 - 16, 2025.

The main goal of the seminar is to introduce the young scientists dealing with fusion, to the key physics and technology aspects, aiming to create the basis for fruitful discussions. The event this year will be formulated by small 3-minute presentations and more detailed poster sessions for all PhD students, together with a special lecture held by Prof. Dr. H. Zohm from IPP Garching. We would also like to inform you that the seminar will be held in English.

Registration and abstract submission

The registration and the abstract submission will be separated in two different forms. The registration is required for all participants due to administrative reasons (room booking, meals, transportation). Personal data will be collected exclusively for registration process. Second part is to submit your abstract, this will be following soon.

REGISTRATION deadline will be 14th of February 2025.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION, SMALL PRESENTATION AND POSTER INFORMATION AND GUIDELINES will be provided via email through Organization Board, after registration.

Mentors

For administrative reasons, mentors that would like to participate are also kindly invited to fill in the registration form.
